I’ll be back on my regularly scheduled posts tomorrow, but I figured that today is a day best left to calm reflection and keeping our thoughts with those who are dealing with the aftermath of what happened in Boston yesterday.
While this is a terrible tragedy, I also saw the great strength and selflessness of people who dove in without a moment of doubt to help those who were injured and scared. The swarms of people who jumped in to lead traffic, re-route runners to safety, heal wounds, organize crowds, restore calm, and disseminate important information are a true testament to how great we as people can truly be.
So to the people whose lives have been hurt by what happened yesterday…my thoughts are with you.
To the people who helped in any way yesterday…thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
